Freedom Groups

*New Freedom Groups begin each fall and spring semester*

What are Freedom Groups?

Freedom Groups gather weekly for eight weeks to discuss the Freedom Small Group curriculum, which is designed to equip you to live the victorious and abundant life Christ came to give you. Freedom Groups build on the foundation of your faith in Christ to help you embrace the truth of God's Word as it relates to your worldview, your past, your sin, your personal value to God, and your purpose in His Kingdom. This group will help you remove every obstacle to intimacy with God and walk in true freedom.

Freedom Seminars

After completing the 8 weeks, every group member is encouraged to attend a Freedom Seminar. The Freedom Seminar focuses on solidifying what you learned in your Freedom Group by helping you take next steps to overcome your past and lay a foundation for walking in daily freedom. Seminars are held on Saturdays from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, and childcare vouchers are available if need help with childcare expenses.

Common Questions

Is this for people with addictions?

Freedom Groups are not addiction recovery or support groups, although those struggling in those areas will benefit from attending. Rather they are designed for everyone interested in learning how to experience a more personal, intimate relationship with God.

Is childcare provided for Freedom Groups?

Children's ministry is available at the church if you choose a group that meets at Lakeshore on Sunday evenings. Groups that meet on other days and times will have reimbursement available through a voucher system.

Is there a cost to attend the Group or the Seminar?

Every group member will need a personal copy of the Freedom Handbook for $13.00. There is no registration cost for the Seminar.
