We will be working alongside our missionary, Jennifer Hatley with Christian Ministries In Africa.  

Christian Ministries in Africa (CMIA) is headquartered in Nairobi Kenya and the organization has many ministry programs across East Africa. CMIA was founded in 1985 by David and Jennifer Hatley and has grown over the years. Today the organization operates the following ministries across six East African countries.

Church on the Rock Africa – CMIA operates approximately 200 Church on the Rock church congregations. The organization is always planting new Church on the Rock churches in East Africa. This church planting ministry spans six nations including Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, and Tanzania.

Children’s Homes – CMIA runs 4 children’s homes in Kenya under the name Grace Children’s Centre. These homes include campuses for healthy orphans, orphans infected with HIV/AIDS, rehabilitated street boys, and girls rescued from female circumcision. These homes currently care for more than 170 orphaned and abandoned children.

Come experience Nairobi as you make a difference in the lives of these precious children and moms through: 

• Teaching 

• VBS and Sunday School Lessons

• Bringing joy through fun crafts and games 

• Providing food and clothing 

• Providing support and encouragement to the moms at the homes

• Supporting and loving our missionaries and more!

We’ll also have the opportunity to go to the Nairobi Game Reserve to see wildlife and other attractions on the last day of the trip.
