When Pastor Brad came to Lakeshore in September of 1994, one of the first things he wanted to know was “What are we doing for missions?” At his first elders meeting, it was decided that from that day forward, 10% of the money given to the general fund would be set aside for missions as a tithe to the Lord.

The first month was a challenge, but Pastor Brad was committed to his word and the promise God had given him. Since then, the church has continued to grow, millions have been given to missions, and Lakeshore members have taken the word of God all over the world.

Lakeshore believes that a vital part of our walk with the Lord is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) by living the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39). We do this by supporting national and international missionaries, serving locally, and taking Lakeshore teams around the world to share the love of Jesus.
