The Host Team is the all-inclusive guest services ministry of Lakeshore’s Dream Team.  We help create a warm, welcoming environment that allows our guests to fully connect with Jesus and to Lakeshore Church.  Each of the 6 ministries within the Host Team has a specific role to play in welcoming our guests.

Opportunities:

• Coffee Bar - This team connects with our guests as they serve them a fresh, delicious cup of coffee or hot tea, helping guests feel relaxed, allowing them to be more open to receive what God has for them during service.
• Greeters - This team's purpose is to provide a warm welcome for our guests by having a friendly smile, offering an encouraging hello, maybe even a handshake or high five, allowing our guests to feel right at home. Greeters hand out worship guides, hold the doors open, and assist our guests by offering them directions on where to go.
• Parking Team - This team has the great opportunity of that very first point of contact with our guests as they are driving onto the Lakeshore campus.  As you smile and wave "hello!" while you welcome them onto our campus, you are showing each person that we have prepared for them to be with us that day.  The service starts in the parking lot!
• Ushers - This team has a critical role in guest experience by being the last point of contact before service begins and becoming the first point of contact after service ends. This team prepares the worship center for guest arrival, greets and helps to seat guests and their families, distributes communion each month, and collects the offering and communication cards during every service.
• Guest Information - This team is the bookends that complete the guest experience. Serving at the Information Desk, you have the wonderful opportunity to relay any important and relevant information about Lakeshore and provide guest assistance as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, showing a family where to take their children during service or where restrooms are located, being an information liaison for any events happening at Lakeshore, and being a friendly and familiar face in the lobby. Our motto is "find the guest before they find you!".
• Dream Team Lounge Team - This team gets the unique opportunity to "serve those who serve" by hosting all Dream Team volunteers in Dream Team Lounge every Sunday morning.  The Loungekeepers prepare and provide food, coffee and other beverages, and share some love and encouragement to our volunteers while providing them a place to come and relax before, during, or after their shift.
