Small Groups
Group Life helps keep our big church small through maintaining the sense of community we had in the early days at Lakeshore. It is important to us that we maintain a family environment. Group Life is the means through which we provide that family environment and where ministry is taken to a relational level.
Small groups at Lakeshore are based around a common interest. This approach to small group ministry is called the free market small group model. When relationships are built through common interests, discipleship naturally follows.
We encourage leaders to take their passion and share it with others through Group Life. If your passion is prayer, join a prayer group. If you enjoy camping, join the RV group. If you love to study the Word, be part of one of the many Bible studies. If there is not a particular group built around your passion, follow the steps to begin that group. There are others waiting to join you.
“My best day is helping you live yours,
and my greatest dream is seeing you
experience your full potential in God.”
-Pastor Brad Howard
By creating small groups based on common interests, a foundation for relationships to form naturally is built. This venue opens the door to fellowship, discipleship, and even evangelism in ways that a weekend corporate worship service simply can’t provide.
